i need information over the great depression and what programs hoover provided to aid people?

stock market crashed, the banks closed and people had no way to get to their money, people lost their land. there was nothing great about it and if it happens again it would be catastrophic. ( I personally freak out when the power goes out or oh damn the CABLE. I wouldnt be able to talk to you delightful people.)
