This version of the video shows the parts that hit the cutting room floor as Paula and Natasha tell us their thoughts on the Subrideo Solution Focused Therapy training course. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy Paula and Natasha tell us their thoughts on the Subrideo Solution Focused Therapy training course. Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term goal-focused therapeutic approach which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather than dwelling on problems. Elements of the desired solution often are already present in the client's life, and become the basis for ongoing change. The ability to articulate what the changes will be like is often more important than understanding what led to the problem.

I did just this after 3 years of depression.
My depression culminated in an attempted suicide at age 10.
The modern view in medicine is that suicide is a consequence of failing to cope with "depression".

Has anyone had a any luck with depression like medications (i.e. zoloft, effexor, etc.)? What is the best? What are the side effects? I am often depressed, negative and critical. I have a generally negative aspect on everything. I tried Effexor, it was great, but I think I may need something stronger. Any suggestions?
If effexor has been working well for you, maybe you should just increase the dosage, rather than switch to a different medication? Perhaps ask the doc to explore that possibility.
